Estate Probate and Litigation
Most estate disputes can be avoided with a well thought out estate plan, usually starting with a simple Will. But in many instances the death of a loved one can be overwhelming and confusing. Often times, that death is overshadowed by the greed of close family members or, in some instances, relentless creditors. If you have a problem with an estate, or just need someone to guide you through the probate process, we can help.
Estate Probate is an administrative process through the Register of Wills office to ensure, among other things, that creditor claims are resolved and estates are managed and closed properly. The proper administration of an estate can impact real property title and therefore care must be taken to ensure administration is correct and documented in the public records. Because the process is controlled by State law, the process can be confusing to the personal representative and frustrating to the family. From experience, we know the process and are ready, willing and able to help.
